When a plan comes together

I couldn't be prouder of the website we created and the incredible team that we formed, known fondly as #TeamPhoenIX. Together, we conquered Agileforpatriots' first scaled Nexus effort, paving the way for future cohorts to thrive and succeed.

It has been an incredible journey of self-discovery as a Product Owner, deepening my understanding of agile methodologies and the scaled Scrum Nexus framework.

Snippet of our problem statement from the point-of-view of Grady our military Scrum Master:

"From the outset, I faced the challenge of securing interviews with hiring managers in an oversaturated job market. My military background sparked initial interest from recruiters, but it was difficult to convey the relevance of my experience to the role of an experienced Scrum Master. To bridge this gap, I took part in the Agile for Patriots program, which proved to be a game-changer. During a brief conversation with a recruiter, I shared a link to my Agile for Patriots Cohort page. While the recruiter couldn't review it in that moment due to time constraints, it highlighted the need for a product that could speak for itself and create opportunities for meaningful conversations."

Inspired by the evolution of previous cohort pages, team PhoenIX embarked on creating a product vision that would succinctly tell Grady's story, showcase the role each team member played, and shed light on the challenges we encountered along the way. The vision aimed to create a product that could withstand the dynamic technological and job market environment, capturing attention without requiring extensive scrolling and clicking.

The experience provided an abundance of valuable #interviewstories, surpassing my own expectations. It reaffirmed the importance of showcasing our journey and achievements in a way that resonates with hiring managers and recruiters. Our website stands as a testament to our dedication, resilience, and unwavering spirit.
